Labels Are Keeping You Stuck
Buddhists talk about “the finger that points at the moon,” which they use to describe the concept that words and labels are like fingers pointing to the moon but not the moon itself.
2023 is coming to an end… and consider that your accomplishments and success are directly effected by the labels unconsciously keeping you stuck.

Yikes!
Let’s get busy.

Our Veils of Delusion
LABELS—continued: Comprehending reality is experiential and can not be described meaningfully because we each experience the world from our unique perspectives and worldviews.
Words and labels create mental constructs that separate us from the direct experience.
These mental constructs can be helpful but hinder our ability to see things objectively.
Examples include:
“good” or “evil”
“right” or “wrong”
“love” or “hate”
These labels inform our reality and prevent us from objectively observing our first impressions.
The works because our thoughts are things; they are real, but much of our thinking processes happen unconsciously, limiting our awareness to our physical senses which veil our spiritual knowing.
Veils — Spiritual knowing reveals these delusions (blind spots) that veil our awareness and thwart our happiness, success, and enlightenment, which are the three veils of ignorance, attachment, and aversion.
Ignorance is the lack of understanding of the true nature of reality and the self.
Attachment is the desire for things to be a certain way or to possess certain things.
Aversion is the desire to avoid or get rid of things that we don’t like or cause discomfort.
Being mindfully present helps us recognize these veils and shines the light of awareness and compassion that eliminate these blind spots.
The process is simple (yet not at all easy):
Meditate
Practice the psychic and healing arts
Delusion-free assessment of our psychic competencies
Integrate our abilitieis into our day-to-day life
