What does waking up at 3am mean?

ARGH! 3:00 AM, and you’re wide awake again. What’s the spiritual meaning of waking up at 3am? The answer to why you keep waking up at such an ungodly hour as 3 AM is probably NOT what you think. Let’s see what we wake up at 3 AM, how to stop, and how to harness that same power to transform your life.

What Does Waking Up at 3 AM Mean?

When asked about waking up at 3 a.m., I first check in with one of my Spirit Guides or Teachers to see if there is some extraordinary explanation for waking up a 3 a.m. every night. To date, there has never been one.

Lacking any Spiritually Significance for waking up at 3AM, I psychically touch the person’s vibration (using ESP) to see what’s happening.

The reason for waking up at 3am every night is typically a subconscious emotional upset, but occasionally, I perceive an unconscious source (typically related to some unresolved trauma).

3 AM Karmic Pattern

The most common reason for waking up at 3 AM, is a mind-brain disturbance causing an unintended karmic pattern.

This karmic pattern is triggered when we wake up, look at the clock, and it’s 3AM, then can’t fall back asleep. So we lay awake obsessing over why we can’t sleep and looking for some logical, rational explanation.

The next day, exhausted and struggling, we mindlessly wonder, “Am I going to wake up at 3 am tonight?”

Your brain decides, “Waking up at 3 a.m. must be important. So let’s set an unconscious alarm to wake up at 3 am to see.”

This unconscious cycle and pattern is a powerful tool that will help you transform your life once consciously mastered by manifesting and materializing things in your life.

Fortunately, the consciousness training process is simple.

We call this training The 3Rs:

  • Right Meditation
  • Right Thought
  • Right Action

Right Action causes good karma (desired outcomes).

Right Meditation (silence) quiets your mind on command allowing you to find the threshold between your body and your spirit, a place I’d like to call the eye of the storm.

In the eye of the storm, you see things as they are rather than you think they are. Once you find this place between spirit and body, the threshold of your spiritual awareness, you can start to do the work of consciously creating the thinking that leads to the actions to get the desired results.

The purpose and intent of Right Thought are to make an actionable decision.

Waking up at 3:00 am is the result of an actionable decision, albeit made unconsciously.

Once you bring consciousness into your thinking process, you start rewarding yourself with fulfilling and satisfying outcomes. Again, the process of consistent right action gets you there.

You experience value from the actions you’ve taken as expressed by the results you get, thus transforming your experience of being alive, regardless of circumstance.

You’ve harnessed the power of your mind that wakes you up at 3 am, then by becoming obsessed with something consciously created rather than something hidden from your view and running in the background of your subconscious.

It truly is that simple. But as with all simple things, it takes work. So results start by allowing yourself to do the work and the practices: Meditate 10 minutes twice daily, consciously training your mind to be aware of the spirit self.

Instead of your unconscious, ego-based physical self allows you to begin differentiating between your instinct to survive and your intuitive knowing or spiritual awareness.

It is that simple.

If you take a deep breath, allowing your mind to quiet and settle, you may find that this simple truth feels right if it rings true.

Next time you wake up at 3 am, smile to yourself, say thank you, then turn over and go back to sleep.

Resist becoming obsessed with whether you will wake up at 3 am tomorrow or why you woke up at 3 am just now.

Know that you woke up at 3 am because you woke up at 3 am.

If you wake up tomorrow at 3 am, your mind runs amuck because you haven’t trained it.

To be clear, this isn’t exclusive to 3 am. It works for 11:11, or 1:11 or 2:22 or 3:33, or seeing a red Honda after purchasing a red Honda.

Your mind’s wiring follows and notices patterns you think are essential.

The trick is to train your mind to consciously decide what’s essential by being informed by your intuitive spirit self rather than your instinct to survive.

That’s it. In the comments below, let me know what you’ve become obsessed with, or do you think I’m full of crap or whether it makes sense.
