♾️ The Paint by Number Approach
Religions often provide a structured framework where everything outside ourselves distracts and tests us. We look for an inner knowing, evil outside of ourselves, and adhere to morals and dogmas to shape our lives according to our desires.
However, there comes a time when we awaken to the realization that there is more to life than what meets the eye. We begin to understand spirituality as a separate journey, where we question the beliefs instilled in us by the religious tribes we were born into.
♾️ Halloween: A Gateway to the Holiday Season
As October comes to an end, we anticipate Halloween, a holiday cherished by spiritualists. Despite the ghosts and eerie creatures associated with this holiday, Halloween is the gateway to the end-of-year festivities.
How do we begin non religious holidays traditions during Thanksgiving and Christmas to Kwanzaa and New Year’s, this holiday season allows us to reflect, slow down, and prepare for the next chapter of our lives.
♾️ Thanksgiving: Embracing Abundance and Traditions
Thanksgiving, a time for harvest celebrations and family gatherings, presents us with an opportunity to express gratitude for the bounties of the year.
We examine whether we approach life from a place of abundance or scarcity and reflect on the programmed behaviors and roles we assume within our family units. Understanding why we are here and questioning past conversations allows us to express our authentic selves during this holiday season, even if it challenges the expectations of those who raised us.
♾️ Christmas: Celebrating the Miraculous and Unconditional Love
Christmas, one of the most widely celebrated holidays, prompts us to examine the intersection of our spirituality and the tribal inauthenticities we may exhibit.
Non religious holidays for Christmas?
We explore the dichotomy between Christ-like behaviors and adhering to rigid rules and regulations. Gift-giving becomes an essential aspect of this holiday, and we reflect on whether we value things over people or approach them with love and compassion.
♾️ New Year's: Embracing Fresh Starts and Conscious Creation
New Year’s marks a time of fresh starts and resolutions. It allows us to evaluate our path, release the past, and consciously create our desired future. We question whether our motivations stem from external influences or align with our inner knowing.
By tapping into our power and embarking on a miraculous journey, we reevaluate our goals and redefine our purpose for the upcoming year.
♾️ Another Year Older... Any Wiser?
Non-religious holidays allow us to delve deeper into our spirituality, challenge existing beliefs, and consciously shape our lives. As we celebrate these holidays, let us strive to be present in ourselves and express our authentic selves to the world.
By incorporating the principles of love, gratitude, abundance, and conscious creation, we can make the most of these holidays and embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery.
